Invitation to the anniversary exhibition: 50 posters, 50 graphic designers for the 50th anniversary of the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw.
The posters are shown in the public space and at Prom Kultury Saska Kepa Gallery, Brukselska 23, Warsaw. Running until the end of July 2016.

The poster Endlich diese Übersicht for the Architekturforum Bern and the Bern Historical Museum receives the Award of Typographic Excellence. This poster is published in the annual Typography 35 and will tour the USA, Canada, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Russia, Spain, Taiwan and Vietnam in an exhibition with another 209 selected works from around the world.

Solo poster exhibition
at the Leopoldo Rother Museum of Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá.
I additionally conducted a workshop at the university’s Facultad de Artes and held a public lecture about my work for students and professional designers.
The museum was built by Rother in 1938 under the influence of German Bauhaus architecture.
A Swiss graphic designer – Josef Müller Brockmann – last showed his work in this museum in 1991.

Since over 50 years the publishing house Graphis Inc. New York presents the best works in graphic design of one year. Anyone who works as a professional designer, advertising agencies and students can submit their works. On the list of the Graphis Poster 2012 Top Winners Stephan Bundi is ranked as No.1 with 10 gold awards for the third time in a row. In the preface this is honored with an interview.

Second prize for the poster Gegen den Fortschritt. The jury of experts, well-known designers of Finland, France, Macedonia the Czech Republic and Poland elected the winners.
In total 547 theatre posters were submitted. The first prize goes to Vanja Cuculić, Croatia. The third prize was not awarded.
The exhibition (23 November 2011 to 31 January 2012) is accompanied by a catalogue.

In the category Cultural posters six posters are nominated for the Swiss Poster Award, three of them designed by Stephan Bundi. Don Giovanni is awarded with silver, Macbeth with bronze.

In October 2011 Stephan Bundi is elected jury president of the International poster biennial in China – one of the most important competitions in the area of poster design. At the same time there is an exhibition with his works. Also, he gives workshops and lectures at the China Academy of art.
